Got any questions?
What is spot color separation in screen printing?
Spot color separation is the process of breaking artwork into individual solid colors, with each ink printed on its screen—ideal for bold, flat graphics with clean edges.
Is spot color best for my design?
If your design uses solid colors (like logos, text, or vector art), spot color separation is perfect. It provides sharp, vibrant prints and is easy to control on press.
How many spot colors can my design include?
Technically, you can have many, but most printers prefer 5–7 colors or fewer for cost and setup efficiency. I can optimize your artwork to reduce unnecessary colors.
Can you show me some samples of your previous work?
Yes, you can visit my portfolio.
Can you match exact Pantone (PMS) colors in the separation?
Yes, I use Pantone Solid Coated swatches and label each separated color so your printer can match ink precisely.
Do you create undebased layers for dark garments?
Yes, I include a white underbase if your design is going on dark fabrics, ensuring colors appear bright and consistent.
What resolution should my image be for best results?
For raster images, 300 DPI at actual print size is ideal. For vector artwork, resolution is not a concern.
Do you provide print-ready files for screen printers?
Absolutely. You’ll receive layered PSD, AI, or PDF files with clearly labeled color channels, ready for film output or digital press setup.
How long does it take to complete spot color separations?
Standard turnaround is 1–2 business days, depending on the complexity of the artwork.
What are your designer's working hours?
Designers work on Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00 (GMT+2).
What is your 7-day money-back guarantee?
All our plans come with a full 7-day money-back guarantee. If, after several design requests, you still don’t think Atexsell is the right fit for you, we will refund 100% of your initial membership fee.
Can I pause my subscription?
Yes, you can pause your subscription for up to 7 days, but only during the 3rd month of your subscription.
